General Terms
Full ellesys terms and conditions apply to all contracts and are available on request.
All prices are excluding VAT.
All lines and calls are part of a 12 month contract
A signed order form or an agreement over the phone will form part of the contract.
Payment by Direct Debit only
Early termination of contracts will be subject to a termination fee. This is calculated on the length of contract left, the cost of current services used and any additional usage such as calls.
On 12 month agreements, notice must be given 1 month prior to the end of the contract.
On 24 month agreements, notice must be given 1 month prior to the end of the contract.
On 36 month agreements, notice must be given 1 month prior to the end of the contract.
Full national and international rates are available on request.
No connection charges apply to any calls except calls to directory enquiries, non geographic or premium rate numbers that have an automatic connection charge, any agreed reduced phone call rates and 1/2 price phone calls offer.
All calls to 118 directory enquiries are charged a maximum connection charge of £1.99 per call.
All calls to speaking clock are charged a connection charge of 60p at all times.
No minimum call charges apply except for non geographic or premium rate numbers that have an automatic charge per call.
Full itemised billing is available on every invoice.
Invoicing is carried out via email. Paper billing is available at £1.75 per invoice.
Administration charges of £5 will apply for returned Direct Debits.
All line rental agreements must include calls unless otherwise agreed.
Call only agreements are available on request.
Ellesys reserve the right to discontinue a service offered, based on 30 days notice to the user.
Ellesys can not guarantee service if accounts are not upto date or if payments are overdue.
If your company and details provided aren’t sufficient enough, we may ask you to make a security deposit which is refundable at the end of your contract.
Late payment charges of £10 per outstanding invoice will be issued for any late payments. To avoid this, please ensure you have contacted Ellesys with sufficient reasoning towards the late payment.
All contracts are renewed automatically into a 1 month contract unless prior notice has been given in writing.
All hardware supplied by ellesys comes with a 12 month manufacturer’s warranty. Additional maintenance cover is available on request.
All ellesys sales and support 0844 numbers are charged at 5p per minute to the caller at all times other operators may charge more.

Business calling plans
Minimum 12 month contract on all calling and price plans
Outside calling and price plans, the following per minute rates apply: Local and national - 1p, UK Mobile calls - 9p, THREE network - 16p, 0845 - 3.5p, 0870 - 5p
All mobile calling and price plans include Vodafone, O2, Orange and T-Mobile calls. THREE network, Dolphin and 3G calls are charged separately.
Over usage of calling and price plans, the following per minute rates apply: Local and national - 1p, UK Mobile calls - 9p, THREE network - 16p, 0845 - 3.5p, 0870 - 5p
All calling and price plans are paid in advance
Early termination of calling and price plans will be subject to 90 days notice
All calling and price plans are based on fair usage and a set amount of minutes calculated at a reduced price.
Unused minutes do not roll over to the next month
If you have not agreed to a calling or price plan, you will be charged via our per second billing system.

Unlimited Business Broadband
Based on a minimum 12 month contract, ellesys Unlimited Business Broadband offers up to 8MB downstream speed, 448kbps upstream speed and no usage limits. One off connction charge of £45 applies. There will be no extra charges for additional upload and download usage and no separate charge for static IP addresses. This is based on fair usage and users will be notified for excessive use. Each user is responsible for the condition and upkeep of all on-site equipment unless a maintenance agreement is in place.
We aim to fix all faults within 48 hours. Some faults are out of our control and these will be classed as exceptional circumstances and users will be notified of such occurrences.
This is an ADSL broadband type.
Business Phone and Broadband £25.99 deal
Based on a minimum 12 month contract, ellesys business broadband offers up to 8MB downstream, 448kbps upstream and 10GB download usage limit. Over usage is charged at £1.50 per GB. One off £45.00 set up charge applies. Enhanced care level available for only £12.00 per month. One static IP address is included in the price. Enhanced care level means we aim to fix faults within 24 hours. This deal includes a fully maintained telephone line rental charged at £10.99 per month that is supported by BT Openreach.
This is an ADSL broadband type.
Best deal up to 8MB Broadband £13.99/£21.99
Based on a minimum 12 month contract, ellesys business broadband offers up to 8MB downstream, 448kbps upstream and 10GB download usage limit. Over usage is charged at £1.50 per GB. One off £45.00 set up charge applies. Enhanced care level available for only £12.00 per month. One static IP address is included in the price.
This is an ADSL broadband type.
Cheapest up to 8MB Broadband £10.99 deal
Based on a minimum 18 month contract, ellesys business broadband offers up to 8MB downstream and 5GB download usage limit. Over usage is charged at £1.50 per GB. One off £45.00 set up charge applies. A new telephone is needed for this service, this is a one-off charge of £99. IP addresses are charged at 99p each. This deal includes a fully maintained telephone line rental charged at £13 per month. A disconnection charge of £28 is applicable upon the end of the contract that isn’t renewed.
This is a LLU broadband type.
Best up to 24MB Broadband £19.99 deal
Based on a minimum 18 month contract, ellesys business broadband offers up to 24MB downstream and 40GB download usage limit. Over usage is charged at £1.50 per GB. One off £45.00 set up charge applies. A new telephone is needed for this service, this is a one-off charge of £99. IP addresses are charged at 99p each. This deal includes a fully maintained telephone line rental charged at £13 per month. A disconnection charge of £28 is applicable upon the end of the contract that isn’t renewed.

Cheapest SDSL Broadband
Based on a minimum 18 month contract, ellesys SDSL broadband offers assured downstream and upstream speeds. The 3 variations of assured speeds consist of 500kbps/500kbps, 1MB/1MB and 2MB/2MB. Ellesys will maintain the line 24/7, 365 days per year and our aim is to fix all faults within 24 hours where possible. This service includes a one-off set-up charge of £199 with rental charges thereafter. Up to 4 static IP addresses are included free of charge, a cost of 99p per IP address per month is applicable for additional addresses.
Enhanced Care Level for Broadband users
Where available, enhanced care levels for broadband users offers a priority fault fixing service. We aim to fix all faults within 24 hours.
Broadband speeds – ellesys endeavour to deliver the fastest broadband speed available on your telephone line. These speeds may vary depending on distance of local exchange, type of line and geographic location. At peak times, broadband speeds may be effected for short periods of time.
Broadband routers - Pre configured wireless routers available from £49.99 plus postage and packaging. A 12 month manufacturer’s warranty comes as standard. This is a send in and return service and we aim to resolve all router faults within 5 days of receipt of goods.
Service, Installation and Engineering Support
All services are fully guaranteed and available 24/7
All lines comes with Level Care 1 as standard
As part of the service, if faults are found on lines BT Openreach will attend the fix at the earliest possible time. Ellesys will prioritise these and aim to resolve all faults within 48 hours.
Any service that requires a BT Open reach engineer, full access to the line box/communications box must be made available to ensure the service can be carried out. Failure to provide sufficient access will result in a charge of £149.99 and classed as an engineer recall.
ellesys provide out of hours support for all customers. On rare occasions, you may need to leave your details if operators are busy at the time. In the result of messages being left, these are picked up instantly and acted on.
New Phone Lines
Ellesys provide new telephone lines. These are exclusively maintained by BT openreach and are kept on the BT network only.
During provisioning, we communicate an installation date. This installation date is auto generated from our WLR3 live portal.
On rare occasions, these dates maybe fall on a weekend depending on engineer availability.
On rare occasions, installation times and dates may change due to engineering availability.
Our free new telephone line offer is exclusive to UK businesses only. ellesys expect chargeable call usage to be visible every month, in the event of no chargeable call usage on the line, there will be an automatic charge of £1.25 per month.
The free new telephone line offer is based on a 60 month agreement for business users only whereby we provide a new line from local exchange to premise, an internal line box and a new local telephone number. If the 60 month agreement is cancelled before the contract expires, ellesys reserve the right to charge a penalty based on length of contract left and usage throughout the 60 month term.
Line Faults
Level care 1 - This is the standard level of care ensuring Ellesys are on hand to pick up any faults from 08.30 to 17.30 Monday to Friday. This level of care comes as standard on all PSTN and ISDN lines.
Level care 2 - This is the middle level of care ensuring all faults are picked up from 08.30 to 17.30 Monday to Saturday. Level care 2 users are handled with higher priority
Level care 3 - This is the highest grade of care level and are ideal for users who need extra cover all day every day including Bank holidays, weekends and out of hours after 17.30 and before 08.30. Faults are picked up immediately and are treated with priority service. We ask all of our customers to contact us via our support email or dedicated support and customer service line. This means your details will reach us faster, in turn we can act on your request quicker. We aim to respond to all line faults within 2 hours of the reported incident. Updates are available every 4 hours until the problem has been resolved. Customers with level care 2 and 3 will receive updates every 2 hours.

Free Audio Conference Calls
This is a free non invoice service using our dedicated 0844 5p per minute conferencing platform.
This service is charged at a minimum of 5p per minute, depending on your phone service operator excluding VAT.
The 0844 number is classed as a ‘g6’ grade.
Price Freeze
Ellesys guarantee your phone line rental rates and call charges will not increase during your time with us. Exclusions include carrier price increases, reduced rates for a limited period of time, special offer rates, administration charges including direct debit and late payments and Ofcom rate changes.
